The expert in peristaltic pumps
ALH High Pressure Peristaltic Pumps and ALP Low Pressure Peristaltic Pumps
Peristaltic pumps are also known as hose pumps, tube pumps or roller pumps. They provide a reliable and simple solution for moving almost any fluid in a wide variety of markets and applications.
Albin manufactures a full range of peristaltic pumps, from the ALH series - which is a high flow, high pressure range capable of up to 380 Gallons per minute and 220psi across the majority of the product range with a 5inch hose as the maximum size - and the ALP pump which is a lower flow, lower pressure, more economical style roller series pump which does up to 35GPM and 60psi.
There are many benefits of the peristaltic hose pump including:
- Seal-less design – Peristaltic pumps are designed to run dry, self-prime and offer a high suction lift (32 ft / 9.8 m). Their seal-less construction uses no mechanical seals or stuffing boxes, which can lead to fluid leaks so they can run dry, pass large solids and high concentrations of slurry without damaging the hose.
- Albin Hose - The hose is the only wearing part within the pump which means you can have a wide range of chemically-compatible material from natural rubber and EPDM to Hypalon and food grade materials. They are also very simple to replace.
- Fully self-priming - The peristaltic pumps are all self-priming up to 9.8m of dry lift and they’re very good with shear-sensitive fluids such as polymers or food materials that you don’t want damaged as they move through the pump.
- Ease of maintenance - When needed, pump maintenance is quick and easy. Scheduled service consists of a simple hose change-out, yielding a lower total cost of ownership than many other pump technologies.
- Bi-directional flow - Flow can occur in either direction through the hose. This bi-directional flow enables a user to easily clean the hose by flushing the lines and the process piping system during a purge cycle.
- Simple to use - Peristaltic pumps are easy to set up, operate and maintain without specialized training. These positive displacement pumps do not require compressed air or rely on valves that can clog. The peristaltic pumping action is ideal for handling abrasive fluids and shear sensitive fluids.
Albin Pump Hose features and benefits:
- Highest quality compound rubber
