The best choice for crucial liquid containment applications

The Viking Sealless Mag Drive range is designed to perform in applications where liquids are hazardous and difficult to seal.

The sealless Mag Drive’s hermetic, static sealed canister provides the highest level of liquid containment available by eliminating traditional dynamic shaft seals, reducing downtime and maintenance costs associated with seal failures and replacements. Viking’s sealless mag drive gear pumps are dimensionally interchangeable with sealed Viking pumps of equivalent size, allowing an easy upgrade from packed or mechanical seals to sealless technology.

FEATURES:

  • Sealless mag drive eliminates the shaft seal to provide the highest level of liquid and vapour containment
  • All liquid and vapour is hermetically sealed in the pump
  • Used especially for hazardous and difficult-to-seal liquids.
  • Able to handle a broad range of viscosities and pressures

UNIVERSAL PRODUCT LINE:

Series: 8124A, 8123A, 8127A (Internal gear models):

This Series features 10 different sizes, may be applied to both thin and thick liquids, and operates in either direction allowing one pump to be used for both loading and unloading. Capable of operating under suction lift conditions, these pumps come with an adjustable internal pressure relief valve on standard design and are available in cast iron, steel and stainless steel construction.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Capacities to 114 m³/h
  • Viscosity to 55,000 cSt
  • Temperatures from -30°C to 260°C
  • Pressures to 14 bar

APPLICATIONS:

  • Petrochemicals
  • Isocyanates
  • Polyols
  • Monomers
  • Resins
  • Adhesives
  • Sodium Hydroxide
  • Paints and Coatings
  • Solvents
  • Petroleum and Additives
  • Biofuels
  • Oil seeds

MOTOR SPEED PRODUCT LINE:

Series: 895, 893, 897 (Internal gear models):

These mag drive pumps provide for the safe, trouble-free transfer of hazardous liquids and can operate at synchronous motor speeds, avoiding the need for a gearbox. The self-priming positive-displacement pumping principle provides low-shear, non-pulsing flow. These pumps are available in cast iron, steel and stainless steel construction.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Capacities to 17 m³/h
  • Viscosity to 55,000 cSt
  • Temperatures from -50°C to 260°C
  • Pressures to 8.5 bar

APPLICATIONS:

  • Refined fuels
  • Isocyanates
  • Lube oils
  • Rotating equipment lubrication
  • Mobile pump carts
  • Glycols
  • Pipeline sampling

Series: SG 805 / SG 807 (External gear models):

SG-series pumps utilise needle bearings to provide high pressure capabilities. These pumps can operate at synchronous motor speeds and are available in ductile iron construction.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Capacities to 7 m³/h
  • Viscosity to 55,000 cSt
  • Temperatures from -40°C to 230°C
  • Pressures to 34 bar (higher for intermittent use)

APPLICATIONS:

  • Pipeline injection
  • Pipeline sampling
  • Oil polishing
  • High pressure lubrication
  • Hydraulics

Series: CMD (External gear model):

Featuring a compact design and entirely non-metallic PVDF construction to allow for universal chemical compatibility. Also offers a high repeatability for chemical metering.
