Plenty Mixers : TM and STM Series - Side Entry Mixers
Designed for precise fluid motion and robust performance
The TM and STM Series Belt Drive Mixers are heavy-duty industrial mixers designed to blend and circulate liquids inside large storage tanks. They use helical impellers and a strong belt-drive system to move liquid efficiently, and the STM models can also swivel to improve coverage. These mixers are commonly used in tanks holding crude oil, biofuels, wastewater, and other industrial liquids. They help keep the entire tank mixed from top to bottom, prevent solids from settling, and maintain even temperatures. Custom sizes and setups are available to match different tank requirements.
High-Efficiency Impellers
Single-piece, helical-shaped impellers provide smooth, cavitation-free suction, strong push, and efficient energy use
Durable Belt-Drive System
Fire-resistant, anti-static (FRAS) belts deliver power accurately and reliably
Swivel Angle Flexibility (STM Series)
Adjustable angles (up to 30°) allow the mixer to cover more of the tank, helping keep materials evenly mixed and preventing settling
Compact, Easy-Access Design
Designed for simple installation and maintenance, helping the equipment last longer and operate smoothly
Key Applications
- Oil & Gas: Crude oil storage, BS&W control, sludge suspension
- Biofuels and Renewable Oils: Ensuring homogeneity and blending
- Wastewater Treatment: Effective mixing of wastewater and treatment chemicals
- Chemical Processing: Uniform blending of components and temperature regulation
- Edible Oils: Maintaining product integrity during storage and transfer
Options
The TM and STM Series mixers offer several customizable options to meet unique operational requirements:
Automatic Swivel Actuators (STM Series):
- Timer-controlled electric motor swivels for precise mixing.
- Shaft-driven actuators for continuous operation without additional field wiring.
Tank Shut-off Device: The tank shut-off device ensures seal and bearing replacement can be performed without draining the tank, reducing downtime.
- Metal-to-metal tapered faces for secure sealing.
- Corrosion-resistant materials for durability.
- Safety check valve verifies shut-off effectiveness.
- Eliminates reliance on O-rings or gaskets that may degrade over time.
Durable Bearings: Long-life pre-lubricated bearings designed for heavy-duty usage.
Mechanical Seal: Designed to handle a wide range of fluids, from asphalt to xylene, ensuring minimal leakage and maximum reliability.
Seal Features:
- Fully enclosed within a housing to protect against wear and contamination.
- Close-clearance throttle bush reduces leakage risks during seal failure.
- Safety check valve ensures the seal chamber is filled with liquid before operation.
Available Seal Options:
- Double Mechanical Seal
- Cartridge Seal
- High-Temperature Sealing Units
- API/682-compliant Seals
