Discover the Precision and Reliability of Micropump

Throughout their history, Micropump has been committed to delivering the utmost quality for their customers. Micropump has provided the leading quality products from day one.

Whether you’re purchasing one or many, you need to be able to rely on your pump and system design for repeatable, reliable and controlled performance. Micropump focuses on the quality of products from inception to completion – following processes and procedures, examining products with a critical eye, and continuously improving.

Micropump's products include pumps and drives. Their technology typically emphasises reliability, accuracy, and efficiency, which are vital in applications where precise fluid delivery is essential.

The company is recognised for its commitment to research and development, often collaborating with other companies and institutions to advance their technology and expand the range of applications for their products. Established in 1960, Micropump is the originator of magnetically coupled gear pump technology and supplies products worldwide. Micropump is recognized today as the leader in low-flow, positive displacement gear pumps, engineered composite gears for gear pumps, and electromagnetic drives.

Products

  1. Gear Pumps: Micropump is well-known for its gear pump technology, which provides precise flow control, and is suitable for a variety of fluids, including corrosive and high-viscosity liquids. Their gear pumps are used in applications ranging from medical devices to industrial processes.
  2. Centrifugal Pumps: Centrifugal pumps offer a reliable, simple, long-lasting design for higher flow applications. Using the unique magnetic drive technology, centrifugal pumps provide excellent chemical resistance and energy-efficient fluid delivery. Integrated impeller and magnet assemblies reduce the number of rotating parts to maximize pump life.
Centrifugal pumps consist of an impeller rotating within a casing. Liquid directed into the centre of the rotating impeller is picked up by the impeller vanes and accelerated to a high velocity. When the liquid in the impeller is forced away from the centre of the impeller, a reduced pressure is produced and consequently more liquid flows forward. There is no closed volume, as in a positive displacement pump, therefore producing a steady flow through the impeller. The pump basically increases the Bernoulli head of the flow between the eye and the exit of the pump.
  3. Micro Annular Gear Pumps (MAG-Drive): These pumps are designed for applications requiring leak-free operation and are often used in chemical processing and medical devices.
  1. Electromagnetic Drives: Micropump EagleDrive™ was created to integrate the pump and motor for an optimized design. By eliminating the need for the hub assembly and adapter, the size envelope is reduced further, and decoupling is eliminated. Reliability is even more improved with the lack of moving parts in the drive.

Applications

Due to their compact size, reliability, and high level of accuracy, they are essential in industries that require exact flow rates and pressures. Micropumps are particularly suited for use in complex and sensitive environments, such as medical devices, chemical processing, and even fuel cell technology applications.

Ceramic Printing: Digital Printers are used to print patterns on ceramic tiles and other ceramic objects. The printing operation occurs before the ceramic is fired. A gear pump is used to supply ink to the print heads of the printer. The ink is continuously circulated over the inlets of the print heads to keep pigmentation particles in suspension; thus, preventing blockage of the inlets.

Pulp & Paper: Pump bleaching agents into mixing towers to maintain correction solution

Analytical Equipment: Industry-leading analytical equipment features pumps with precise control of fluidic parameters including flow, pressure, steady flow velocity, and chemical compatibility. Micropump answers the industry need for positive displacement pumps in a compact design without compromising pressure, performance, or steady flow velocity.

Industrial Applications: In areas like water treatment, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, their pumps can be found handling various types of fluids under different environmental conditions.

Textiles: A gear pump is used to supply ink to the print heads of the printer. The ink is continuously circulated over the inlets of the print heads to keep pigmentation particles in suspension; thus preventing blockage of the inlets.

Key Features
